Best Buffalo Bills player to wear #19: Donald Jones

. . Youngstown State. Donald Jones. player. 16. Wide Receiver. 19

Well, sort of. Donald Jones was signed by the Buffalo Bills in 2010 and only lasted three seasons with the team, his final coming in 2012. That was his best year when he posted a career-best 41 receptions for 443 yards and 4 touchdowns. Currently, this number resides in Isaiah McKenzie’s locker, but for reasons unknown to all this is a cursed number for those who wear it.

The reason I say that is just to look at the list of who’s worn this jersey over the years. Most guys who get this jersey only end up playing one or two years with the team at best. Of course, a jersey number has no correlation to the length of one’s tenure with a team. However, this trend can’t be ignored when you take a look at it.

That’s why this was a complete toss-up for this spot. Anyone could have been nominated and all would have had a legitimate case. Jones just nearly edged out McKenzie for the top spot by 100 yards.
