Week 5 Bills’ offensive line vs. Titans defensive lines / Vice-Versa

For the second year straight the Bills will be traveling to Tennessee to play the Titans in Week 5. The concern this week will be both containing Derrick Henry as well as keeping Josh Allen upright, also known as the battle in the trenches.

The Titans have a productive group up front when it comes to pass rushing but they lost a lot of run stopping prowess with the departure of Jurrell Casey to the Denver Broncos this offseason. If the Bills can keep Josh Allen protected on passing plays while staying efficient with the ground attack, the offense has a good chance in this game.

On defense, the Bills will have to use their depth on the front four to keep fresh legs in the game to disrupt the Titans productive power running game. Based on the rosters and the outcome of last year’s Week 5 contest, it’s tough to pinpoint one exciting player matchup to highlight. Instead, this game will be won in the trenches by whichever team commits the least amount of mistakes. It may be a long ways away, but it feels like a nail-biter already.
