WEEK 4 – Bills’ DB depth vs. Raiders WR Depth / Vice Versa

The biggest concern for the Bills in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders will be matching up with their speed and depth from the receiver group. The Raiders added Henry Ruggs III, Bryan Edwards, and the versatile Lynn Bowden Jr. in the 2020 Draft. If the Raiders decide to go empty set on offense, the Bills will be forced to put four or more DBs on the field, which is not currently a perceived strong suit of the Buffalo defense.

However, if you flip to the other side of the ball, the Bills could play the same kind of air raid attack against a young inexperienced secondary that is depending on some rookies (Damon Arnette and Amik Robertson) to make a serious impact. Not to mention, this will be Jonathan Abram’s pseudo-rookie season after a season ending injury last year. The Bills now have the roster to air it out with the best offenses in the league, now it’s time to take it off of paper and put it on the field into.
