LB Antonio Morrison Makes A Pre-Draft Visit To The Bills
Linebacker Antonio Morrison makes a pre-draft visit to the Bills. The inside linebacker from Florida is 6’1″ and 232 pounds according to NFL.com.
He is a hard-hitting linebacker that is great against the run. He struggles against the pass and may only end up being a two-down player in the NFL. He reacts too quickly to plays and needs to learn to be patient. He has an extremely intense personality and also a non-stop motor. Morrison does not stop playing until he hears a whistle.

One of the negatives on Morrison is his two arrests in 2013 within the span of five weeks. One of the arrests was for punching a bouncer while the other was for barking at a police dog and resisting arrest. Explaining to NFL executives in interviews why you got arrested for barking at a dog must be a ton of fun.
Morrison is undersized for an inside linebacker in the NFL but he is the ultimate alpha male and his ego might be the one thing that will allow him to succeed at the next level. His determination is completely unmatched by anyone else.
He injured his knee at the end of 2014 season requiring two surgeries. At best he was supposed to miss half of last season while rehabbing but he was super aggressive with his rehab and was able to will himself back into the lineup by the first game of the season.
Linebacker is one of the top areas of need for the Bills since it was one of their worst performing units last season and that was before they lost Ty Powell, Nigel Bradham and A.J. Tarpley for various reasons.
The team did add two linebackers to the roster this offseason in Zach Brown and Lorenzo Alexander but they still need to add more talent in the draft if they want to improve upon last season’s poor play at the position.

Morrison is one of several linebackers that the Bills have shown an interest in. In addition to Morrison, the team has received pre-draft visits from linebackers Su’a Cravens, Leonard Floyd, Darron Lee, and Reggie Ragland. Those players are projected to go in rounds 1 or 2 by most experts whereas Morrison is expected to go much later in the fifth or sixth round.
