Steelers vs. Bills prediction unchanged despite postponement

If things remained as scheduled, the Pittsburgh Steelers would be taking on the Buffalo Bills as I write this. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had different plans and a blizzard has caused the game to be delayed until 4:30 pm et on Monday.

Now that the game is set to be played in much better conditions on Monday, should we change things up in terms of how we're betting on it. Absolutely not.

The Bills were set as 10-point favorites for the majority of the week. The spread moved down half a point down to Bills -9.5, but moved back up to Bills -10 when the postponement was made official.

Earlier this week, I wrote about why I like the Bills to win and cover the double-digit spread. With the game being delayed until Monday, my opinion stays exactly the same. In fact, I like the bet even more now.

There's no denying the Bills are the better team and have the advantage in the matchup, but weather is the great equalizer and if the game went on as scheduled, crazy things could have happened in favor of the Steelers if the two teams played in snow.

Now, the Bills will have much better weather to play in and should be able to use their full arsenal of weapons offensively.

I'm sticking to my guns and taking the Bills to win this one running away.
