2.) Nyheim Hines - Running Back

When looking at the Bills’ running back room, Hines necessarily doesn’t need to be the main ball carrier for the offense. Traded to the Bills in the middle of the season last year, Hines was brought in to bring a new spark to the offense by being a pass catcher in the backfield.

Instead, he was utilized more as a kick returner, which he exceeded expectations (especially against the Patriots in week 18 with two kickoff returns for a touchdown).

With who the Bills brought in at running back (Damien Harris and Latavius Murray to go with James Cook), Hines possibly won’t see much time on offense. As far as special teams, Hines could be in danger of losing his spot to return kicks with the signing of Deonte Harty, who could easily step into that role.

When healthy, Harty is a speedster who can fly by defenders. If Harris provides competition for Hines on special teams, Hines may end up not making the final 53-man roster or atleast not securing a starting spot.
