As the Buffalo Bills prepare for the 2023 season, they are going to have to get through a division that looks a little different than it did a year ago.

New faces in a few new places across the AFC East should make the coming season much more entertaining. For the sake of the fans, too, let's hope those new faces and the familiar ones can all stay healthy.

The AFC East is going to be a battle. Between Buffalo, Miami and New York, there might just end up being three playoff teams coming out of this division. But, not before some unlikely things unfold. Let's get into a few early, bold predictions for the Bills and their divisional foes.

Bold Prediction Number 1: The Buffalo Bills will sweep the AFC East in 2023

In 2022, the Bills went 4-2 against their AFC East rivals, sweeping the New England Patriots and going 1-1 against both the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. In total, the Bills had a point differential of +26 against the Patriots, +5 against the Jets and just +1 against the Dolphins. So, they handled the Patriots. But, the other two teams made it tougher on Buffalo.

This season, both the Dolphins and Jets will be even better after adding players like Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Rodgers, respectively. But, the Bills will take it up a notch as well, going on to win all six divisional games this season.

If Buffalo is going to make a Super Bowl run this coming year, they will have bigger fish to fry than AFC East opponents. Buffalo is going to face off against the likes of Kansas City, Cincinnati and Philadelphia all in the regular season. They better be able to win those divisional games, while focusing even more on the tougher opponents.
