Every year about this time fans start to speculate who will make the 53-man roster and who won't. Sometimes it's the "who won't" that gets fans worked up more than who did. There is always a training camp or preseason darling among the fans, someone that the fanbase falls in love with and can't imagine their team without.
This year has been no different but there has been a hot debate about who should make it and who should not. No this isn't a final 53-man roster projection but these five players I believe will not be on the roster when the season officially kicks off.
That means they might make the roster initially but by the time the season starts for the Buffalo Bills on September 11, the team could potentially execute a trade or two using some of these players. The team has a real issue at tackle, and whether you are in or out of the Spencer Brown camp, few will question that the Bills have a problem with the depth behind these two guys.
The Bills have a lot of really good depth at other positions though, which means there is a very good chance someone's favorite doesn't make it to Week One. I remember a time when Duke Williams was the next great wide receiver and Christian Wade was the second coming of Thurman Thomas. And let's not forget about Robert Foster too, Josh Allen made him a household name in Bills Mafia.
With that, let's get into the five players I don't believe will be on the Bills roster when the team kicks off the 2023 season on Monday Night Football. Feel free to come at me and tell me I don't have a clue, that's fine, and I understand we all have an opinion, some right and some wrong. Only time will tell the truth.
