The Buffalo Bills finalized their 53-man roster and there weren't many surprises, if any. Maybe you view the release of A.J. Klein as a surprise or possibly seeing that Andy Isabella didn't make the team was a surprise. Both of those exclusions from the 53 I previously predicted but in the end, it's unlikely this is the same roster that the Bills start with in Week One.

Already we are hearing of a possible signing of free agent tackle Germain Ifedi, which would add solid depth, but I'll get into that later as the tackle situation was one of my initial reactions I wanted to discuss.

The absence of Klein is interesting, given McDermott's trust in him, but I think at the end of the day, the depth with Dodson, Bernard, and Spector is far more athletic than Klein. He might know the defense and understand the scheme, but he simply can't match up on the field. Additionally, the presence of Dorian Williams on special teams replaces Klein. Williams played very well on special teams and could make a career there as he continues to develop as a linebacker.

One last thing before I get into my reactions, many of these guys who didn't make the 53 will be added to the Bills practice squad, so maybe one of your favorites, such as Isabella, will make it back to the practice squad and eventually find their way to playing on game day.
