One of the biggest improved areas for the Bills this year has been their ability to run the ball. In last Sunday’s loss, the Bills had no run game presence, which was a big factor in the offense failing to sustain drives. When the Bills have run the ball well this season, it has opened up their entire offense and helped lead them to owning a top-five offense.
The Giants own the NFL’s 23rd-ranked rushing defense, allowing 92.2 yards a game. James Cook should be able to get it going after a down week, which will let the Bills offense get back to their explosive ways. It will also allow Josh Allen to have another big-time game, which has catapulted him into the MVP conversation.
