3 Key Matchups for the Buffalo Bills versus New York Giants

3.) Sean McDermott versus Brian Daboll
We have another head coach showdown that will be crucial. Just like when the Bills played Miami, the Bills' Defensive guru head coach Sean McDermott, will be coaching against offensive guru Brian Daboll, who happens to be his former assistant. It will mark the first time these two will face each other as head coaches.
McDermott had an amazing game plan against offensive mastermind Mike McDaniel and his Miami Dolphins. He will need another one this week. McDermott has the upper hand on Daboll as the Bills are a better team, but Daboll can make something out of nothing, as he took a rebuilding Giants team to the second round of the playoffs last year. The Giants do have some weapons, as well that can do damage.
McDermott will need to gameplan to keep Saquon Barkley in check, as he is expected back this week. Running backs have had some big games against the Bills this season. Darren Waller can also be a game wrecker, and the speedy Jalin Hyatt is just waiting for his breakout game. After much success together over the years in Buffalo, it’s going to be fun watching these two game-plan against each other. Especially based on the rumor that Daboll has taken over the play calling duties, and McDermott is calling the Bills' defense.
