We’re finally getting into gear for the upcoming NFL season with raining camps opening everywhere. It’s the time of the offseason when Madden ratings are as important as anything else. It also happens to be a time for predicting outcomes and stats in the season ahead.
With a few favorable matchups ahead of him, Josh Allen looks poised to have another monster season. With that in mind, we sized up the schedule and attempted to predict Allen’s 2026 stats.

Touchdowns galore
Allen has been a touchdown machine in his career, ripping off five consecutive seasons with 40+ total 40 touchdowns (he had 39 last year to fall just short of the mark once again). He has consistently been one of the game’s most dominant quarterbacks and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.
Look for Allen to put the team on his back and make better use of new weapons like D.J. Moore, Skyler Bell, and a return to health for Dalton Kincaid and Joshua Palmer. With more options to spread the ball to, Allen should throw for more than 30 touchdowns for the first time since 2022.
Running the ball is part of what has made Allen such a dynamic threat, particularly in the red zone. He has had at least 12 rushing touchdowns in each of the past three seasons. He should once again hit double-digits and, combined with his passing proficiency, push his career-high of 46 total touchdowns set in 2020.
The offense still runs through Allen and there are few in the world who can do it as effectively as he can. That won’t change in 2026.

Over the past few seasons, the Bills have become more of a run-focused team. James Cook won the franchise’s first rushing title since O.J. Simpson, the goal being to take some of the pressure off Allen.
That said, the passing game has struggled because of a lack of quality options. But with the aforementioned additions, Allen may collectively have the best group of targets to throw to that he’s had in a few years.
He hasn’t thrown for more than 3,731 since 2023 and looks poised to top the 4,000-yard mark once again. Head coach Joe Brady loves to get the ball out of Allen’s hands quickly and the Bills have more than a few options that can take quick hitters and turn them into six points.
Look for Allen to finish with slightly more than the 4,306 yards he threw for in 2023, the most since he racked up 4,407 yards in the 2021 season.
MVP-caliber play
“Josh Allen” and “MVP” have become synonymous. He finished third in voting in 2022 and 2025, a runner-up in 2020, and won the award in 2024. He is the Buffalo Bills. As he goes, so goes the franchise and that won’t change in 2026.
Allen will again put this team on his back as only he knows how and should be a finalist for MVP once again. His maturity and poise, not to mention his accuracy, seem to get better with time. With more weapons and more chances to take a shot, Allen will be better than ever.
