The Bills are currently leading the AFC East sitting at a 6-2 record. The rest of the division currently sits at 6 wins combined between the Dolphins, Patriots, and Jets with 2 wins from each team. This Sunday, the Dolphins come to Buffalo to face off for the 2nd time this season. With a win for the Bills, they will have swept the Dolphins for the 2nd time in the past 2 years.

Here are 5 bold predictions for this upcoming matchup

Rasul Douglas gets his first interception

The last time these two teams faced off in Week 2 in Miami, the Bills intercepted the Dolphins multiple times. This was before Tua Tagovailoa had left the game late in the 3rd quarter with a concussion. The past few weeks, Rasul Douglas had multiple opportunities to intercept a ball but just wasn't able to bring it in. With Douglas getting these near interceptions has got to fuel him, and he is due for an interception. Especially with the way the Miami offense operates and how it's a timing based passing game, Douglas' instincts are perfect against this type of offense.

Buffalo has a 100+ yard receiver for the 3rd straight week

The past two weeks for the Bills has seen a significant uptick in the efficiency of the passing game. Obviously, this comes after the Bills traded for Amari Cooper, which presents more headaches for defensive coordinators. Whether Cooper gets his targets or not, his presence on this team has opened up the other receivers. The first week was Keon Coleman, and this past week it was Khalil Shakir. It could be any of Cooper, Kincaid, Shakir, or Coleman, this is not limiting to just wide receivers.

Josh Allen gets AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Josh Allen has had multiple AFC Offensive Player of the Week awards in his career, and the largest amount of those have come against the Dolphins. With the Dolphins coming to Buffalo and the efficiency of this passing game blooming these past two weeks, Allen is primed to have a great game. A 300+ yard and 3+ touchdown day would be a high probability for Sunday, and in turn, a nominee for this award.

Miami will put up a better fight than in Week 2

The first matchup between these 2 teams saw an uninspired effort from Miami in their home stadium. Ever since Tua Tagovailoa went down in that game with his concussion, and frankly even shortly before that, the Dolphins had no energy and no sense of urgency. Ever since that matchup, the Dolphins have fallen off heavily. When Tagovailoa came back against the Arizona Cardinals last week, this seemed to spark the Dolphins in a big way, which could fuel a desperate team in Miami.

Von Miller and Greg Rousseau combine for 3+ sacks

Von Miller is coming off of his 4 game suspension, and could help this defensive line. Along with the line as a whole, he can unlock even more from Greg Rousseau. Ever since Miller's suspension, Rousseau hasn't necessarily put up the box score stats (sacks), but he is one of the best in the league at generating pressure on the quarterback. In obvious passing situations against the Dolphins on Sunday, Rousseau and Miller could wreak so much havoc against a suspect offensive line and the not so mobile Tagovailoa.
