While Jordan Addison or Zay Flowers are probably high on the Buffalo Bills draft board, they are high on other team’s draft boards and there is a good chance both are drafted before the Bills are on the clock. If the Buffalo Bills want to add a wide receiver and both players are gone, then Jalin Hyatt out of Tennessee would likely be the player they target.

In addition to looking for an upgrade at slot receiver, the Buffalo Bills could also use speed at the wide receiver or a player who can really challenge defenses deep. This is exactly what Jalin Hyatt can do after an average of 18.9 yards per reception last season with Tennessee. In total, he had 67 receptions, 1,267 receiving yards, and 15 receiving touchdowns.

Jalin Hyatt probably won’t be a high volume receiver but his presence on the field should make the job for players like Stefon Diggs and Dawson Knox easier. Defenses would have to play back to account for Hyatt’s speed and this should open up those intermediate and short routes for Diggs and Knox.
