Tyler Bass

The final player is one who likely won’t be named to the Pro Bowl but his performance this year certainly warrants it. The reason he won’t make it is that the Baltimore Ravens have arguably the greatest placekicker ever in the NFL in Justin Tucker. The Ravens’ kicker once again is performing at a high level and only one placekicker is nominated from each conference.

However, if the award was based on performance just this year, Tyler Bass should be the player to represent the AFC at the position. After 11 weeks, Tyler Bass leads the league in scoring with 93 after an impressive game against the Browns where he connected on six field goals, including a 56-yard attempt.

It will be interesting to see if Bass can keep this pace and if he remains ahead of Justin Tucker in points scored, then he should get the nomination for the AFC.
