Another player who should make the Pro Bowl but might miss it this year is safety Jordan Poyer. The reason that Poyer might miss it is due to injuries as he has already missed four games on the season.

However, when he is on the field there are few players better than him at the position. This season, Poyer has 26 total tackles, two tackles for a loss, four interceptions, and seven passes defended entering Week 12.

The fact that Poyer has missed a number of games and still ranks third in the league in interceptions is rather impressive and demonstrates just how good he is.

Over his career with the Buffalo Bills, it has been surprising every year how he doesn’t earn postseason awards. That was corrected somewhat last year as he was named first-team All-Pro but he still hasn’t been named to a Pro Bowl. Hopefully, that changes this season after the year he has had.
