Will the Buffalo Bills secure a win in their first home game of the 2022 season?

The Buffalo Bills were one of the first teams to play in Week 1 by kicking off the 2022 season against the Los Angeles Rams. They will now be one of the final teams to play in Week 2 with a home game against the Tennessee Titans on Monday night.

The extended break was hopefully going to give players time to rest and be fully recovered heading into a pivotal early-season matchup. This game could carry significant playoff implications as the Tennessee Titans have been a playoff team for the past two years. In both of those seasons, the Titans have come away with a regular season win over the Buffalo Bills.

Unfortunately, the Bills appear like they are going to be missing key players on the interior of their defensive line with Ed Oliver already ruled out and Tim Settle listed as doubtful. This is not an ideal situation with the power-running game the Titans’ offense uses.

However, the good news is the Bills do have good depth and this should create some additional opportunities for others to play more.

Final Score Prediction: Buffalo Bills 35, Tennessee Titans 10

While the Buffalo Bills are going to be short-handed along the defensive line, the offense has a great matchup as the Titans are also missing key players like cornerback Kristian Fulton. This is a matchup that should heavily favor the Buffalo Bills, even if Gabe Davis is not able to play, as the Bills still will have Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox, Isaiah McKenzie, and Jamison Crowder.

The Buffalo Bills should be able to get out to an early lead that is going to force the Titans into playing catchup and potentially having to throw more than they would like. If the Bills are able to minimize the carries Derrick Henry gets, this has the potential to be a blowout.

The Titans have won the last two games but the Bills are able to end their winning streak with a big win in front of BillsMafia at Highmark Stadium.
