It could be a great game for the Buffalo Bills if these four bold predictions come true in Week 2
In Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams, I had four bold predictions for the Buffalo Bills and got two right (Von Miller’s sack total and the Bills defense registering two interceptions).
The other two were close with Josh Allen having nearly 300 passing yards but Matthew Stafford struggling to throw the ball and Gabe Davis having a good game with 88 receiving yards but not surpassing Stefon Diggs, who had 122.
This week the bold predictions were a little tougher in a game where the Buffalo Bills look to be the better team and a game they should win. However, these are four bold predictions for the Week 2 matchup.
Buffalo Bills Week 2 Bold Prediction: Sam Martin has at least one punt
This one typically would not be a bold prediction but the Buffalo Bills have shown they can have games where they won’t punt once. Dating back to last season, including the playoffs, the Bills haven’t punted in four of their past six games.
One of the reasons the Bills didn’t punt last week was due to the fact that they were turning the ball over more than they would like. In total, they had four turnovers (three in the first half) and by turning it over there wasn’t a need to bring newly signed punter Sam Martin onto the field.
This week, the Buffalo Bills will cut down on the turnovers and will need Sam Martin to punt at least once against the Tennessee Titans.
