Wide Receiver/Tight End

While Stefon Diggs has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, he certainly can’t do it alone. He was going to need another wide receiver to step up to help take some attention off him.

The hope was that Gabe Davis would be that player and on Thursday night the Buffalo Bills showed just how good this duo can be with Josh Allen as their quarterback. In total these two combined for 12 receptions, 210 yards, and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the slot receiver seems to be a bit of a work in progress and might be a split role between Isaiah McKenzie and Jamison Crowder.

McKenzie was one that had a lot of buzz coming out of training camp and preseason after his performance but had the mistake early with the dropped pass that turned into an interception. He was able to bounce back and had a touchdown reception in the second half which was good to see but Crowder seemed to see his role grow as the game went along and had three receptions for 28 yards.

The depth was clearly on display from all four wide receivers and considering the game the Bills had through the air and Dawson Knox, who just got the big contract, only had one reception for five yards, this offense is going to be tough to stop.
