Offensive Line

The Buffalo Bills offensive line didn’t get much work together this preseason due to players being injured and missing time. When the offense took the field for their opening drive it was the first time that Dion Dawkins, Rodger Saffold, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates, and Spencer Brown were together in a game, regular or preseason.

This was certainly going to be a tall task for the offensive line considering Aaron Donald was on the other side of the line. While Donald did get a sack, the overall performance was great in pass protection as Allen was sacked only twice all game.

However, the run blocking is something that still has some work to do as the Bills didn’t really do a great job opening running lanes for Devin Singletary and Zack Moss. The Rams were one of the best teams against the run last year so it wasn’t overly concerning but worth watching in the coming weeks if this is something that improves.
