Running Back

Last year at the end of the season, the Buffalo Bills were getting great production from the running back position, mostly from Devin Singletary. The hope was that momentum would continue this season with Singletary returning, the Bills adding Rodger Saffold on the offensive line, and also drafting James Cook.

However, in the end, it was actually Zack Moss who looked the best. The former third round pick had been somewhat of an afterthought entering training camp and was considered to potentially be on the roster bubble.

That all changed over the past few weeks as Moss has looked back to what he showed at times as a rookie. While Singletary led the running backs in carries with eight, Moss was not far behind with six but the difference was in the passing game as Moss had six receptions on six targets.

The biggest concern for this group was ball security as Moss and James Cook each had a fumble and this is one of the reasons they received the grade they did.
