Concerns about the Bills’ offensive line shuffling

Spencer Brown has become one of the most important pieces to Buffalo’s offensive line. The biggest difference with Brown on the field is the points per game Buffalo has scored.

With Brown at right tackle, the Bills have scored 38.5 points per outing. In his absence, Buffalo has scored just 25.2 points per game. What a stark difference in the numbers affected by such a modest position.

When Brown was out against the Jaguars, the Bills started Cody Ford and Daryl Williams on the right side. In that game, the Bills surrendered four sacks, two interceptions, and the running backs combined for just 22 rushing yards.

Early in his Bills career, Brown has been a difference-maker for Buffalo’s offensive line. With DeForest Buckner and Kwity Paye coming to town, the Bills must have a plan in place to remedy the absence of Spencer Brown. If they can’t slow down Indy’s front four, it could be a long day for Buffalo’s offensive unit.
