Which Buffalo Bills’ offense will show up?

On a week-to-week basis, the Bills’ offensive unit has been largely inconsistent. Looking back to the start of the season, the offense struggled against the Steelers, it started slowly against the Dolphins, performed remarkably well against the Chiefs and Titans, then laid an egg against Jacksonville.

The inconsistent nature of the offense is bound to hurt the Bills when it matters most. In a playoff game, where the Bills will be playing good teams, they can’t afford to start slow or they could be looking at a 21 point deficit.

What’s frustrating about the Bills’ inconsistencies is that fans have seen what the offense is capable of. In a given week, any Bills receiver could go off on the stat sheet. But in some contests, the offense appears flat or uninterested in scoring points. Their sense of urgency early in ball games has been erratic. And if they want to hold on to the top spot in the AFC East, they need to start fast on offense, chiefly this week.
