Week 9: Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars

After a home game, the Buffalo Bills hit the road for the first of two back-to-back road games. This time they head down to Jacksonville to face Urban Meyer, Trevor Lawrence, and the Jaguars.

The Jaguars are another team that had some significant changes since the last predictions as they lost running back Travis Etienne to a season-ending injury and traded starting middle linebacker Joe Schobert.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are certainly going to be more improved from last season but not enough to close the gap with the Buffalo Bills. There are no guarantees in the NFL, but this feels pretty close.

Prediction: Win (6-2)

Week 10: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

After playing the team that had the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Bills hit the road again to face the team that had the second overall pick in the New York Jets. This also will be the second straight game facing a rookie quarterback, this time Zach Wilson.

The former BYU quarterback has looked good in the preseason and the Jets should be much more competitive than they were last year.

Their biggest question, and why this game likely won’t be close, is their secondary. This should be a big game for Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, and the other pass-catchers as they win their third straight.

Prediction: Win (7-2)
