Week 11: Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills return home in Week 11 to face the team they beat in the playoffs last year to end their playoff win drought. The Colts will be entering this game with a new starting quarterback, Carson Wentz, but outside of that essentially the same team.

The quarterback position is the most critical on the field and how Wentz plays this year is going to determine how competitive this Colts team is. If he can manage the game, keep the offense on track and provide enough of a threat that teams can’t focus on Jonathan Taylor, this team will be competitive.

However, the Buffalo Bills don’t have this question and have a quarterback who is an MVP candidate. This will be a close, competitive game but the Bills continue their win streak with a victory over the Colts.

Prediction: Win (8-2)

Week 12: Buffalo Bills at New Orleans Saints

One of the marquee games of the NFL season is the night game on Thanksgiving and the Buffalo Bills will be traveling to New Orleans to face the Saints in that time slot. The Saints have been one of the best teams in the NFC for over ten years and this was due to quarterback Drew Brees.

However, Brees retired this offseason and the Saints now turn to former first overall pick Jameis Winston. They also are likely to have number one wide receiver Michael Thomas back from injury and with Alvin Kamara still here, this could end up being a shootout.

I believe the Bills defense is better than the Saints and will put up a little more resistance which is the deciding factor here and Buffalo comes away with a win in front of a national audience.

Prediction: Win (9-2)
