Tyrell Adams

The linebacker position is one of the deepest on the roster and there is certainly going to be a battle for the final spots at the position. One of the players who joined the team this offseason but has been impressing the coaches is Tyrell Adams.

Adams had a breakout year last season with the Houston Texans after he got a chance to become the starter in place of the injured Bernadrick McKinney. He would finish the year with 125 total tackles and two sacks.

Leslie Frazier earlier this month was asked about Tyrell Adams and described him as a ‘tackling machine’. The Bills defensive coordinator did say he would be fighting for a roster spot but also mentioned that special teams coordinator Heath Farwell is excited about him as well.

The play on special teams could be the deciding factor in whether Adams makes the roster or not. Tyrell Adams would be a great fit as the primary backup to Tremaine Edmunds that could step in if the need arose but if that doesn’t happen be a contributor on special teams.
