Best Buffalo Bills player to wear number 5: Tyrod Taylor, Quarterback

This one was easy the moment his name popped up on the list. Tyrod Taylor is our first non-specialist to make this list. Taylor is best known for his role in ending the Buffalo Bills playoff drought, getting them in position to be helped by the Andy Dalton to Tyler Boyd touchdown that stunned Baltimore and sent Buffalo into a frenzy.

Matt Barkley was the latest occupant of this number but didn’t really leave good memories behind as his performances were less-than-stellar. Former QB Trent Edwards would have claimed this spot if not for Taylor. Taylor went 22-20 as a starter for the Buffalo Bills, throwing 51 touchdowns to 16 interceptions. That’s a pretty good ratio for someone who’s been a journeyman in his career.

There’s also some all-times names on this list as well, as Vince Ferragamo and Booth Lusteg headline those who also wore the 5 on their chest.
