Jake Fromm

Another player that fans should be very interested to see play this preseason is Jake Fromm, who was a fifth-round pick last year. The former University of Georgia quarterback was used as an emergency quarterback last year and practiced away from the team in case there was an outbreak in the position room.

This meant that fans didn’t get a chance to see Fromm play any NFL snaps and he is still largely an unknown at this point. At one point, Fromm was considered a top prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft but slid all the way to the fifth round when the Bills selected him.

He now enters a season in a similar situation to Isaiah Hodgins in that he isn’t necessarily guaranteed a roster spot this coming season. The Bills added Mitchell Trubisky in free agency and also has Davis Webb on the roster. A strong preseason could give fans more confidence in Fromm if the need were to arise for him to step into the lineup.
