The next player is someone who the Buffalo Bills drafted last year but didn’t get a chance to see any playing time as a rookie. The Bills drafted Gabriel Davis in the fourth round, who had an excellent rookie season, but also drafted Isaiah Hodgins in the sixth round.

The former Oregon State wide receiver is sometimes forgotten when considering the talent the Bills already have at the position combined with the performance of Gabriel Davis last year. He missed his entire rookie season after being placed on injured reserve to start the year. He was expected to return but had shoulder surgery in December that ended his chance to return to the field.

The challenge is that the Bills are deep at the position and the coaching staff is going to have to make some tough decisions at wide receiver when they have to cut down the roster. Even though Hodgins was a sixth round pick just last year, he will need to have a good preseason to earn a roster spot.
