Buffalo Bills: 3 players already on the bubble after the 2021 NFL Draft

Efe Obada
Another player who was signed this offseason that could be cut before the start of the year is Efe Obada. He is a former Carolina Panthers pass rusher who is coming off a career year with 5.5 sacks and looks to be an ascending player at the position.
However, the Buffalo Bills now have a numbers problem at the position and potentially too many defensive ends. They drafted Gregory Rousseau in the first round and then selected Carlos Basham Jr. in the second round. They will join A.J. Epenesa as defensive ends selected in the first two rounds of the past two NFL Drafts and all three are almost guaranteed to make the roster.
The one player who seemed like a likely candidate to be cut was Mario Addison. However, general manager Brandon Beane spoke about Addison after the NFL Draft and it seems like he is very much in the plans for this year. Beane believes he can not only contribute on the field but would be a great mentor for the younger players.
Addison, along with Jerry Hughes, both have spots on this roster which essentially brings it down to a training camp battle between Obada and Darryl Johnson. The reason that I listed Obada as on the bubble over Johnson is that Darryl Johnson has been a key part of special teams and this should give him a slight edge.
