Can Zach Wilson get a win against the Buffalo Bills?

Between the two newest rookie QB’s in the division, Wilson has the best shot. General Manager Joe Douglas made fantastic selections of the team’s first four picks:

  • Wilson
  • Alijah Vera-Tucker, G/T, USC
  • Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss
  • Michael Carter, RB, North Carolina

Adding all of this in with the mountain of a man that is Mekhi Becton, and suddenly the Jet’s offense looks way more potent than it ever did last year. Wilson threw for 7600 yards and 56 touchdowns in his three years at BYU, with most of the yards coming in his junior season.

Even with all the departures on the defensive side of the ball, I don’t think the defense didn’t get better, but it didn’t get any worse either. This Jets team is going to have growing pains and have to learn how to win. New Head Coach Robert Saleh should get their defense to be playmakers in no time at all.

So can he actually beat the Buffalo Bills?

Answer: No. As much as Wilson may carry this team in the future, there is no way his defense keeps up with the high-powered engine that is the Bills offense. Although there may be some fantastic duels between him and Josh Allen for years to come.
