Patrick Surtain II, Cornerback, Alabama Crimson Tide

Similar to Jaycee Horn, Patrick Surtain II would provide much of the same lock-down defense that the Bills could use at the cornerback position and would command a similar price.

Horn and Surtain are seen as interchangeable 1A and 1B when it comes to the first cornerback off the board. During Alabama’s National Championship run, Surtain recorded an interception, a touchdown, 10 defended passes and 32 total tackles.

With both coming from the explosive SEC conference, paring up against some of the college’s best football talent, trading up for either of these cornerbacks to replace Levi Wallace is a move Buffalo wouldn’t regret making.

Where Surtain could edge out Horn on Buffalo’s target board is the fact that Surtin comes from a pro football bloodline and has a championship pedigree. While Ohio State was not remotly close to beating Alabama in the National Championship game, Surtain was still impactful. He recorded three total tackles, helping the Tide secure their title in five years.
