Once again the Buffalo Bills enter the offseason with questions at the cornerback spot opposite Tre’Davious White. They have continued to try to go with older veterans at the position, like Josh Norman, but by the end of the season, they seemingly end with a platoon of the veteran and Levi Wallace.

The team would probably like to have some stability and a long-term answer to help solidify the position for this defense. That answer could already be on the roster in the form of Dane Jackson.

Jackson was a seventh round pick by the Buffalo Bills this past year and spent most of the year on the practice squad. However, he was called up a few times and when given the chance to play did a good job.

He finished the year with 15 total tackles, five passes defended, one interception, and one fumble recovery in five games played.

Brandon Beane took notice of Dane Jackson this year and recently said that Dane Jackson will have a chance to compete for the starting job next season. I think he not only will compete but will ultimately be the starter next year.
