Buffalo Bills: 5 players they should re-sign this offseason

This may not be a big name but defensive tackle Justin Zimmer has emerged as a good rotational player for this defense. If the Bills were to cut someone like Vernon Butler, it would make sense to try and keep Zimmer.

The reason this is a move the Bills should make is that they could keep Zimmer for a much smaller salary than what Butler is set to make this coming season. He also has been more productive than Butler when on the field.

He has played in seven games this year and has 17 total tackles, one sack, two tackles for a loss and was the player who forced that key fumble on Cam Newton to secure the Bills win over the Patriots.

Similar to Bojorquez, Justin Zimmer is a restricted free agent so this should help keep the contract manageable within the limited salary cap.

The return of Justin Zimmer, along with a returning Star Lotulelei, would give the Buffalo Bills a good defensive tackle rotation with them joining Ed Oliver and Quinton Jefferson in 2021.
