Corey Bojorquez

For a few seasons, the Buffalo Bills have been looking for a long-term solution at punter. The Bills would bring in competition for Corey Bojorquez and he would win the training camp battle. Then during the season, Bojorquez didn’t do enough to secure the job long-term.

However, that has changed this season as Bojorquez has been one of the better punters in the NFL. He would be leading the league in average yards per punt at 50.5 yards however he doesn’t qualify for enough punts to be considered.

The good news is that bringing back Corey Bojorquez this offseason is a little easier since he is a restricted free agent. This means that depending on what tender they use they can match any contract or get draft pick compensation. There is no reason not to tender and try to re-sign their starting punter after the season he has had.
