Buffalo Bills: 3 areas to improve over second half of 2020 season

Rushing Attack
In Week 8, the Buffalo Bills showed exactly what they hoped to get from their run game all season. However, that one game against the Patriots was enough evidence this backfield has the talent to be a big part of this offense.
This past week, the Bills had Devin Singletary and Zack Moss each surpass 80 rushing yards while Moss found the endzone twice.
At the start of the year, the Bills didn’t really need the run game because Josh Allen was playing so well and the passing game was really clicking. However, as Josh Allen has slowed a bit they need the run game more than ever was needed to take some pressure off the quarterback.
There is another reason why the rushing attack is so important is to keep opposing defenses honest. It seems like defenses are starting to play more cornerbacks, which was one of the reasons the Bills leaned on the run against the Patriots, which creates more room to pick up yards on the ground.

In addition, if the Bills can get Singletary and Moss going it will make play-action even more effective and really open the big play with the pass. For the Buffalo Bills to keep the offensive success, it will be important to keep the run game going.
