Taron Johnson

One of the strengths of the Los Angeles Rams is the slot position, manned by wide receiver Cooper Kupp. However, the Rams also will line up Robert Woods there and there will be plenty of pressure on Taron Johnson in this game.

Johnson has been the Buffalo Bills primary nickel corner over the past two years and has done a good job when on the field. According to Pro Football Reference, in two games Johnson has been targeted 14 times and given up nine receptions for only 67 yards and no touchdowns.

However, Kupp and Woods are the Rams top two wide receivers and in the first two games Kupp has nine receptions for 121 yards and Woods is not far behind with eight receptions for 119 yards.

The Rams will likely try to shy away from Tre’Davious White in this game which means Taron Johnson will likely see regular targets in Week 3.
