Devin Singletary

The biggest X-Factor for the Buffalo Bills in Week 3 has to be running back Devin Singletary. The first two weeks have been a bit of a disappointment for the second-year back, although he was much more efficient in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins.

The reason this is a big game for Singletary is that he will be the featured running back in this game with rookie Zack Moss ruled out due to a toe injury. This is a role he played well last year as he saw a majority of the work in the second half of the year by surpassing Frank Gore on the depth chart.

The hope is that Josh Allen will be able to continue playing at this level all season but in reality, the Bills will need to find some balance that forces defenses to respect the run to avoid dropping more players into coverage.

In a game where Devin Singletary gets the entire workload, this would be a great opportunity to re-ignite the run game and show the coaching staff he should be the featured running back going forward.
