Tyler Kroft

Another player who could be a X-Factor for the Bills is tight end Tyler Kroft, who is replacing the injured Dawson Knox in the starting lineup.

In the first two games, the tight end position hasn’t been included much in the gameplan. This is probably due in large part to the success the team has had on the outside with Stefon Diggs and John Brown.

This week though, the team could look to showcase the tight end position a little more with Jalen Ramsey on the outside lining up across one of their top two wide receivers. This past week, the Rams struggled to slow down Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert, who combined for nine receptions and 72 yards.

Now, Tyler Kroft is not going to be mistaken for either of the Eagles tight ends but he has shown to be a good pass catcher at times in his career, mostly with the Cincinnati Bengals. Kroft joined the Bills as a free agent last offseason but suffered a foot injury in OTAs.

This opened the door for Dawson Knox to win the starting job and Kroft never really got to see regular snaps last year. This could be that opportunity the veteran needs to showcase what he can do in this offense.
