Round 6 (Pick 207): Calvin Throckmorton, OT (Oregon)

The scouting reports for Calvin Throckmorton all seem to align to the fact that he is a very intelligent player but lacks the physical abilities, like the one by Kyle Crabbs at The Draft Network.

While there are some concerns, one of the reasons that this is a good pick for the Buffalo Bills at this point in the NFL Draft is his versatility. Over the course of his collegiate career, he has played every position along the offensive line.

This type of versatility is valued by the Buffalo Bills and will give them a chance to find out where the best position is for him at the NFL. Based on his high football I.Q. it might even make sense to make him the primary backup to Mitch Morse at center.
