Buffalo Bills: Seven round mock draft after start of free agency

Round 7 (Pick 239): Rodrigo Blankenship, K (Georgia)
In addition to getting Stefon Diggs, the Buffalo Bills got the Vikings’ seventh round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. The Bills’ front office elects to bring in some competition for Stephen Hauschka, who will be 35 this season.
Blankenship has been one of the better collegiate kickers over the past few seasons for the Georgia Bulldogs and connected on 80 out of 97 field goal attempts. He also never missed an extra point, making all 200 attempts. He also won the Lou Garza Award this past season, which is awarded to the nation’s top placekicker.
dark. Next. Free agents still available that Bills should target
Placekickers aren’t typically a position that gets drafted but at this point, it makes sense to grab the best kicker at the collegiate level. Hauschka started to struggle last year, especially with longer field goal attempts, and this may be the season it makes sense for the Buffalo Bills to make a change at the position.
