5 best moments for the Buffalo Bills over the past five seasons
2019: Thanksgiving Day win over the Dallas Cowboys
There had been many skeptics of the Buffalo Bills start to the 2019 season however after their performance on Thanksgiving Day against the Dallas Cowboys, it was hard to deny that this team deserved to be in the discussion of legitimate playoff contender.
The Buffalo Bills are not usually a team that is put in a position to play in front of a national audience. However, they were selected as one of the marquee teams on arguably the second most important day for the NFL, outside of the Super Bowl.
The Bills went on to win by a score of 26-15 and there was plenty of memorable moments that came from this game. There was Cole Beasley catching six passes for 110 yards and a touchdown, or John Brown throwing a touchdown pass to Devin Singletary or even Star Lotulelei registering an interception.
However, the one moment that will stand out most is Josh Allen fighting for a first down on a fourth and short situation. The Bills quarterback looked to be stuffed at the line of scrimmage but after a second, and third effort, he broke through for the first down.
This was the play that was the catalyst for the Bills win and helped propel them to one of their bigger wins in recent memory.
