2019: Win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on SNF

As previously mentioned, the Buffalo Bills were a team that didn’t find themselves in prime time football often. However, towards the end of the season the NFL flexed their game with the Pittsburgh Steelers to Sunday Night Football.

This was the first time the Bills played on Sunday Night Football since the 2007 season and they did not disappoint fans with 17-10 win over the Steelers.

It wasn’t always pretty but the Bills secured the win thanks to a four-interception performance by their defense. It was led by Tre’Davious White who had two of those and Levi Wallace who had one in the closing seconds.

Unlike in 2017, the Bills clinched their playoff spot with the win over the Steelers in Week 15 of the season. There was no stressing in the closing weeks of the season or them needing help from other teams. They were able to control their own destiny for most of the season and this speaks to where this franchise is going.

While the Buffalo Bills have had great moments over the past five years, the hope is that there will be plenty more, and bigger moments, in the coming years for this franchise.
