Both have done what was expected of them by the Bills. Beasley has provided a great slot option and has 670 yards and a career-high six touchdowns on 60 receptions.
As for Brown, he’s been the better of the two and has become a receiver the team can rely on to keep defenses honest. Heading into Week 16, he’s already amassed 1,000 yards receiving. Currently he has 71 receptions for 1,007 yards and five touchdowns. That’s already a career-high in yardage and receptions for Brown and he’s just two touchdowns shy of his personal best for touchdowns.
While he isn’t a prototype No. 1 receiver in the NFL, Brown has been able to fill the role for the Bills this season and deserves credit for that.
The team overall has been stagnant on offense at times and they’ve been somewhat carried by their defense at times. That likely hurt Brown’s chances to make the Pro Bowl. Even so, Bills fans understand how much he’s given to the team this season and look forward to more from him going forward.
