Injury Updates
There were a few updates on some of the major Bills injuries during minicamp. Check them out below.
Sammy Watkins Injury Update
Sammy Watkins boot is off and he walked onto the field! Check out this tweet from Vic Carucci. There is still no set timetable for his return but Rex Ryan is on the record as saying he won’t miss the first game. Let’s hope Dr. Rex is right.
McCoy’s Injury Not a Hamstring Issue
According to this tweet from Bills insider Chris Brown, Rex Ryan corrected himself, and LeSean McCoy has an ankle injury, not a hamstring injury. He participated in individual but not team drills. The Bills also said they would limit McCoy’s workload in preseason as a precaution.

Cordy Glenn Missed Practice
Cordy Glenn was present but not practicing. When asked why Glenn wasn’t practicing, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Rex Ryan said “Yeah. He’s got some…I don’t know.” But don’t worry Bills fans, Rex used the old cliche if there were a game on Sunday, he’d be playing line shortly after.
Jerry Hughes Wrist Update
Jerry Hughes is fine after having offseason wrist surgery no matter how gross the picture looked. According to Bills reporter Chris Brown he said, “I’m pretty much good to go. I got (my wrist) taken care of in the offseason and I’m pretty much 100 percent now.”
So that’s it for the news out of Bills minicamp. Training Camp starts at St. John Fisher College on July 30th. If you want to know the full training camp schedule you can find it here.
