Within the AFC East, we are moving onto Week 6 as all four teams in the division all played on Sunday. Only one team came away with a victory, and it was the Buffalo Bills. Instead, the New England Patriots came into Orchard Park and pulled a major upset by beating the Bills and handing them their first loss.
While the Patriots moved up one game closer to the Bills in the division, both the Jets and Dolphins each lost once again. The Dolphins blew a lead against the Panthers, while the Jets looked pathetic against the Cowboys and remain as the league’s only winless team. While Bills fans are disappointed from Week 5, just be glad that the team is 4-1 rather than where the Dolphins and Jets are.
The Week 6 schedule for the AFC East has games starting early on Sunday at 9:30am EST and going all the way through Monday night.
Week 6 schedule for AFC East
Denver Broncos @ New York Jets
9:30am - NFL Network+
The Broncos and Jets will play in London to start off the Sunday games. Denver is coming off a massive upset, handing the Eagles their first loss. Meanwhile, the Jets are still looking for their first win of the season. They have a tough task against Bo Nix and the Broncos.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Miami Dolphins
1PM - CBS
After a huge letdown against the Panthers, the Dolphins are back at home where they will host Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. Remember how the Dolphins could have drafted Herbert instead of Tua Tagovailoa? Yeah, that never gets old to bring up. The Chargers have now lost back-to-back games, but they should get a nice bounce back win on the road down in Florida.
New England Patriots @ New Orleans Saints
1PM - CBS
The Patriots are feeling great about themselves with handing the Bills their first loss of the season. Now they will head to New Orleans for a battle against a Saints team that just picked up their first win against the New York Giants. Could New England be heading into a trap game of some sort? We shall see.
Buffalo Bills @ Atlanta Falcons
7:15PM - ESPN on Monday Night Football
Buffalo experienced a loss for the first time this season. Now they get an extra day to prepare for a Monday Night Football battle on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. While the Bills get the extra day, the Falcons are coming off a bye week and they have one of the most dynamic running backs in the game with Bijan Robinson. Don’t be surprised if this game becomes another nail-biter for the Bills.
