Tyreek Hill made his feelings known about Bills' Mecole Hardman signing

Buffalo's seemingly insignificant signing had a small ripple effect.

The Buffalo Bills needed some kind of jolt. While their 6-3 start to the 2025 NFL season is not bad by any means, they have shockingly found themselves a good bit behind the New England Patriots for the AFC East lead, and they've dropped three of their last five games.

At wide receiver, especially, the Bills needed help, so they signed Mecole Hardman to their practice squad on Monday. It may not be a flashy signing, and he'll certainly be a depth piece, but it goes to show just how desperate this Buffalo team is getting for offensive contributions.

In the Bills' brutal 30-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, only Keon Coleman stepped up alongside Khalil Shakir, and he's been inconsistent, at best, this season. With Joshua Palmer banged up and both Curtis Samuel and Elijah Moore not producing much, Buffalo had to make this signing.

But that didn't stop Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill from stirring the pot a bit when it was announced that Hardman was heading to Buffalo. Hill posted the following message on social media when he learned the news.

"Man went to the opps"

Hill and Hardman played together for three years with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2019-2021, so this was likely said in jest. It is also a bit ironic, as Hill forced his way out of Kansas City to another AFC opponent, and Hardman has played for another AFC East team before, the New York Jets.

He did make a follow-up post about Hardman, however. Bills fans are definitely hoping that what Hill said is true, as Buffalo needs something to change with its passing game.

"Happy for my bro he gone be a difference maker for Josh Allen watch"

Hardman being a difference-maker for Josh Allen would be an absolute miracle. After a strong start to his career, Hardman has recorded just 27 catches for 214 yards since 2023, and he has not played in a game this season.

His speed should still be a factor, and perhaps he can contribute on special teams as well. But surprisingly, Bills fans may be clinging to a bit of hope about Hardman that was provided to them by... Tyreek Hill? Let's just hope he is right.
