The roster for the Buffalo Bills is not perfect at all, by any means. It has plenty of areas of improvement, but they can only do so much under the cap before they have to work with what they have. With that being said, their roster is definitely not one of the worst either. Overall, they have their biggest position solidified at quarterback with Josh Allen.

As long as a team has a franchise quarterback (or thinks that they have one), those teams tend to be one of the better ones in the entire league. Now, there are plenty of teams who have instability at that position and one of them is right in the AFC East.

Down in south beach, the Miami Dolphins have committed to a massive rebuild under a new regime led by Jon-Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hafley. Both of them came from the Green Bay Packers, and they are looking to turn around the Dolphins organization. In order to do that, they had to move on from players like Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Bradley Chubb.

Their best free agent signing was bringing in quarterback Malik Willis on a three-year deal, but it’s nothing shocking considering that Willis was in Green Bay with the new regime. Not to mention, the Dolphins gave him a contract worth $67.5 million despite Willis only playing in 22 NFL career games. That’s quite the investment…

The Dolphins are projected to be one of, if not the worst team in the NFL next year. It’s bound to happen considering all of the revamps that they did this offseason. They will be picked as one of the teams that could battling for the No. 1 overall pick in 2027, which could be headlined by University of Texas quarterback, Arch Manning.

However, Manning’s head coach, Steve Sarkisian recently spoke with Kay Adams on Up & Adams, in which he has hinted something that might interfere with the Dolphins looking to go and get Manning in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Steve Sarkisian may have just screwed up Dolphins' hopes of getting Arch Manning in 2027

Adams asked Sarkisian if there has been a conversation about Manning when it comes to 2027 and whether or not he would leave Texas to come to the NFL. She asked him “how surprised would you be if he wanted to stay?”

You know, we haven’t had the discussion, but I would tell you that I would not be surprised. I think Arch really likes college football. I really do, I think he loves the University of Texas. He does pretty good through NIL, he’s got some good endorsements going right now.” said Sarkisian.

On the same token, I won’t be surprised if he declares and decides to go to the draft. But I think some of that is dependent upon on how we play as a team this fall, how he plays individually. Knock on wood, injury-free football and things like that.” Sarkisian added.

With the Dolphins most likely in the race for the No. 1 overall pick in 2027, they could be going into a draft where the projected No. 1 overall pick in Arch Manning may not even leave college. That could leave them with limited options of trying to find a franchise quarterback, and all that Bills fans can do is sit back and laugh at Miami continuing to struggle to get the quarterback position right.

Now granted, it’s June. Anything can happen from now until Manning has to decide if he wants to declare for the draft or not. But for Sarkisian to say that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Manning return to Texas for 2027 is quite interesting.
