Predicting Josh Allen's Week 13 stats vs. San Francisco 49ers
Before the season started, the Buffalo Bills taking on the San Francisco 49ers was an exciting game. A potential prediction to a Super Bowl match up (the infamous Chris Berman bowl!). Now, it looks like the Bills are a wagon, while the 49ers are a shell of their former selves who won the NFC last year and were close to winning the Super Bowl.
The big reason for the Bills success is the way Josh Allen is playing, along with the rest of the team raising their game to his level. The weapons that Allen has at his disposal definitely are contributing better. Especially in key moments. For example, Mack Hollins catching an insane pass from Allen, going to the ground, getting back up before being touched by a defender, and being able to run out of bounds before the end of a first half to set up a field goal.
The weather for the game is supposed to be cold and their is a possibility of snow. This doesn't bode well for a team in the 49ers who are a west coast team, and Buffalo is a hard place to play in regardless especially in December and January. The flip side is Allen is essentially weather-proof and does well in these types of games. Allen is the perfect fit for a quarterback playing in Buffalo.
This game could become sloppy early on. Unfortunately for the 49ers, Buffalo is a great 2nd half team. Along with that, Sean McDermott is undefeated off of a bye week. Allen could have some stinker throws, but he'll definitely make up for it with some jaw-dropping throws and bulldozing some defenders when he runs.
A big part for this prediction is not just because how hot the Bills and Allen are, but also Allen and the Bills usually play their best football in December. This could turn from a slow start, to a very hot finish to the game. You might look up and see that Bills have scored 20+ points in the 2nd half.
