We might be seeing a snow game in Orchard Park for primetime football this weekend. The Buffalo Bills are coming off their bye week after ending the Kansas City Chiefs’ undefeated streak in Week 11, and now turn their attention towards the struggling San Francisco 49ers.

Riding a 9-2 record, the Bills are in a close race with the Chiefs for the #1 seed in the AFC but they have a tough remaining schedule to close out the regular season. For the next three weeks, Buffalo will take on the 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, and Detroit Lions, all three games that could go either way.

The Bills have dominated the 49ers in their last two matchups, winning by a combined score of 79-40. San Francisco went up to Green Bay last Sunday where they were beaten down by the Packers, 38-10. Now they will travel across the country even further to take on the Bills on Sunday Night Football.

Everyone knows that any team facing the Bills later in the season may have a massive disadvantage because of how cold it can get. Not only does it start to get colder each day, but snow starts to play a factor as well. The 49ers might be the first team that will endure a snow game in Buffalo this season.

According to BuffaloWeather and Alex Brasky, there are winter storm watches that have been issued for the Buffalo area that could hit Orchard Park by the time kickoff starts this Sunday.

Weather report gives Bills huge advantage vs. 49ers

Unless you’re a team like Green Bay, Chicago, or New England, where it typically gets chilly, playing in Buffalo is tough when it’s snowing. With the 49ers coming from California, this could heavily affect them seeing as how they don’t get a lot of snow like Buffalo does.

Teams who typically don’t play in cold weather on a consistent basis tend to struggle. Just ask the Miami Dolphins, who always find a way to struggle when it isn’t scorching hot.

The weather for this game could always change at any moment but as of right now, Bills Mafia might experience their first snow game this coming Sunday against an opponent that is already struggling when they shouldn’t be.
